CDP Social Justice Living-Learning Community
Living Out the Legacy of Our Founders
The CDP Social Justice Living-Learning Community (LLC) is a program in which freshmen, who are interested in engaging in conversations around social justice issues, live together in a community, enjoy fun and spiritually-enriching activities outside the classroom. By joining the CDP Social Justice LLC, you'll connect with a group of students from different majors and different walks of life who share your interest in social justice.
As a member of the CDP Social Justice LLC, you will:
- Receive a $1,000 stipend – available only for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Have conversations about social change and the role of activism, civic engagement and leadership
- Move in a shared residence hall early with other living-learning community peers
- Learn how faith and spirituality can propel social action and nourish social change agents
- Participate in a service project
- Learn about the charism and mission of our founders the Congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence
- Network with peers, faculty and community members interested in advancing social responsibility and compassion
- Come to know yourself better through building community, while strengthening academic success
Why Join the CDP Social Justice LLC
By joining the CDP Social Justice LLC, you'll connect with a group of students from different majors and different walks of life who share your interest in social justice. These students will become your classmates, hall mates and friends. You will be on the same floor in the same residence hall, take two courses together each semester during your freshman year, and participate in theme-related discussions, special events and exclusive opportunities available only to students in the CDP Social Justice LLC.

To apply for the CDP Social Justice Living-Learning Community, submit the form below. Once you have completed the inquiry form, a member of the LLC team will contact you to provide more information and the application.
The first 15 students who successfully complete the application process will be selected. Students will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must be admitted to º«¹úAV as a freshman before being considered.
