Impact of º«¹úAV: º«¹úAV has impacted me in many magnificent ways. It has transformed my life offering me opportunities that I would have never dreamt of. It made me grow professionally as well as spiritually. º«¹úAV is more than a university. It is a place that I have called home for the last four years. It will always hold a special place in my heart forever.
An important life lesson: The biggest life lesson that I learned is that I could do anything that was put in my path no matter how hard it was.
Plans for the future: I am going to finish out my internship at Barkley-Ruiz Elementary School in an ACE classroom. I hope to be certified this upcoming spring. I want to be an ACE teacher and work in San Antonio Independent School District. I will be pursuing a master's degree in Special Education and do more training to better educate myself to help my future students. I want to teach in a life skills classroom. I hope to carry the legacy of º«¹úAV teachers before me. I own a big thank you to Drs. Jerrie Jackson, Alycia Maurer, and Belinda Schouten for everything that they have taught me.
